Orthodontic challenges, like crowded teeth or an uneven bite, can affect both your smile and your long-term dental health. Diamond Dentistry is pleased to offer clear aligner treatment with Invisalign® for adults and teens in Wellington, FL. Clear aligners straighten teeth using a series of custom, removable trays — no brackets or wires required.
What Are the Benefits of Clear Aligners?
- Far less noticeable and more comfortable than traditional braces
- Trays are removable for eating, drinking, and special occasions
- No food restrictions
- Easier brushing and flossing than with fixed braces
- Custom-made for your specific teeth
- Improved confidence during treatment, not just after
Am I a Good Candidate for Clear Aligners?
Clear aligners are suitable for a wide range of patients who want a straighter, more aligned smile. They can help correct overbite, underbite, crossbite, open bite, crowded teeth, and gapped teeth. During your consultation, Dr. Jill Rowland will evaluate your bite and help you decide whether clear aligners are the best path to your goals.
How Do Clear Aligners Work?
We'll take a digital scan of your mouth so that a set of personalized aligners can be created. Aligners are typically worn 20 – 22 hours per day and are swapped for the next tray in the series every 1 – 2 weeks. Most patients complete treatment in approximately 12 – 24 months, depending on the complexity of their case.
What to Expect After Treatment
Once your teeth have reached their final position, it's important to wear a retainer to keep them there. Custom retainers are made from the same clear material as your aligner trays, so they're comfortable and unobtrusive.
How Much Does Treatment Cost?
Clear aligner treatment cost depends on the complexity of your case and the length of your treatment plan. Many dental insurance plans offer orthodontic coverage that can reduce out-of-pocket costs, and financing options are available for patients who need them.
