Dentures and overdentures offer a convenient, proven method for restoring missing teeth — whether you're missing a few teeth in an arch or a full arch. Dr. Jill Rowland provides full, partial removable, and implant-supported overdentures for adults of all ages in Wellington, FL, customized for a comfortable fit and a natural appearance.
What Are Overdentures?
An overdenture is a denture that snaps onto or clips over a small number of dental implants, giving you a far more secure, stable fit than a traditional denture. Overdentures don't slip when you eat or speak, they preserve the bone around your implants, and they can be removed for easy cleaning. For patients who have struggled with loose lower dentures in particular, an implant-supported overdenture is often life-changing.

Am I A Candidate For Dentures or Overdentures?
Ideal candidates have experienced tooth loss in their upper or lower arch due to factors like decay, gum disease, or injury. Overdenture candidates need enough jawbone density to support two or more implants — and if the bone isn't there, Dr. Rowland can discuss bone grafting as part of the plan.
What Is the Process?
At your consultation, Dr. Rowland will assess your oral health and review your treatment options based on your needs, preferences, and budget. For traditional dentures, we take digital impressions of your arches so that your customized prosthesis can be fabricated in our trusted dental lab. For implant-supported overdentures, we coordinate implant placement (performed by Dr. Rowland in-house), a healing period, and then the final overdenture that snaps securely onto your implants.
